Mark 2:27-28 New King James Version
27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
You know guys, no matter how many times I've read not just this passage of scripture, but other passages of scripture about the Sabbath, I learn so much on not only what the Sabbath is, but also what it truly means to honor the Sabbath. That has these verses above state, that the Sabbath was made for man, not the other way around, and that there is a reason that we have a Sabbath to begin with. It's a way of celebrating and being thankful to God for having created the universe in six days, and how He rested. It's an opportunity for us to not only remember that, but take time out of all of our labors, all the things that we are doing, and accept God's invitation to cease from our work, and to trust in His provision. I think that's why I'm so challenged, as well as were deeply encouraged by the questions out of this morning's devotional, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart to them.

When do you find it easy or hard to rest from your work?

What are some things you need to do to enable you to rest?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me out of His Word on not just what the Sabbath is, but on how to honor it tonight, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you will listen carefully to what I have to say. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how to rest, recharge, and be willing to relinquish the notion that it's all up to you, Through learning to rest in God's almighty arms! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to echo something that I said almost a year ago, and I pray that you listen to it and act on it. I pray that you see how important it is to take the time to relax, rest, and allow God to recharge you each day. Take some time out each day, to just relax and not do anything. Go outside and take time to enjoy God's creation, get your family together, and if it's warm enough, go to a park and have a cookout/picnic. Whatever you choose to do to relax, go for it, because it will be one of the best things that you can do. Above all, ask God to show you ways in which you can not only physically and spiritually recharge yourself, but to take that time for that needed “retrieval practice” to intentionally decide to stop and remember all the awesome things that God has done for you, and to never forget his benefits (Psalm 102:3). Remember guys, it's not all up to you, so let it be up to God, and take that very important rest!

UNTIL WEDNESDAY:

HAVE A TRULY TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
