How a snail works

Snails are slow-moving mollusks with coiled shells, found on land and in water. They glide using a mucus-secreting foot and have tentacles with eyes. Snails eat plants, fungi, or other animals using a radula. Many are hermaphrodites and play key roles in ecosystems as decomposers and prey. Some are pests, while others are used for food or decoration.
