Capybaras are large, semi-aquatic rodents native to South America. Known as the world's largest rodent, they can grow up to 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) long and weigh around 50 kg (110 lbs). Capybaras are social animals, often living in groups near water sources like rivers, lakes, or marshes. They have webbed feet, enabling them to swim efficiently, and they feed mainly on grasses and aquatic plants.
