Walking In The Anointing

This teaching was prompted by a conversation I overheard with a mature Christian who was telling a story about how God answered her prayers to resolve a difficult family situation. They credited the answer to her prayers with wisdom given to them under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The part that caught my attention was when they said that this was the first time they had ever prayed for the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

My worldview says that since we Christians are in Jesus and He is living inside us, then we should be walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit pretty much all the time. How was it that this person was not continually praying for the anointing of the Holy Spirit?

Thus, this teaching was born to explore anointing in general, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and just what is the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and how do we operate in it? Before you say you think you already know all these answers, I think you will learn something from this teaching.
