We Made This $100 Computer Edit 6K RAW Video!!

You read that right! We built a $100 video editing computer that can handle 6K RAW footage! 🤯

In this video, we'll show you how we took an old Dell Optiplex 7020 (the kind you'd see in a doctor's office 15 years ago!) and transformed it into a surprisingly capable editing machine.

Can a $100 PC really edit 6K BRAW? We put it to the test with footage from a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and the results were shocking! While we made some strategic hardware and software choices (think Linux, DaVinci Resolve, and a specific NVIDIA Quadro GPU), the performance we achieved for the price is seriously impressive.

We'll dive into the specific components, reveal the compromises we had to make (looking at you, H.265!), and demonstrate its capabilities with various footage and editing tasks. Get ready to rethink what's possible on a budget!
