REPTILIANS OF ANCIENT AMERICA - SOUTH CAROLINA'S LIZARD MEN

Native American legends of Florida and South Carolina include encounters with the Inzignanin, fishlike humanoids that were five feet in height, covered in scales, and had inflexible tails. They were said to inhabit Chicora, which is modern-day South Carolina. These Fish-men were believed to consume only raw fish and are said to have died out when the areas fish population depleted.

They were described in old texts as “men with tails a meter long and as thick as a man's arm. This tail was not movable like those of the quadrupeds but formed one mass as we see is the case with fish and crocodiles and was as hard as a bone. When these men wished to sit down, they had consequently to have a seat with an open bottom; and if there was none, they had to dig a hole more than a cubit deep to hold their tails and allow them to rest. Their fingers were as broad as they were long, and their skin was rough, almost scaly. They ate nothing but raw fish, and when the fish gave out they all perished, leaving no descendants…”

Were these strange humanoids related to the infamous Lizardman of Scape Ore Swamp in South Carolina? Long Island Bigfoot Mike joins Jessica on this episode of “A Glitch in the Matrix,” to explore the Inzignanin, reports of real-life lizard people, and his investigations into aquatic cryptids across the east coast of America!
