Metro Exodus, Playthrough (No Commentary), pt.12

I was advised by the mysterious woman (who saved me) to sneak past the guards, but I saw no possible way of doing so... So I shot them all. :-/
Now, having got past them, I found a boat that I was gliding to the end of the channel, and found a mysterious man who clearly had gone mad, but he's friendly. I don't know what to do right now as he is quite talkative.
