The main event between Bakhtovar Yunusov and Ryskulbek Ibraimov is being released early due to the controversy surrounding the result. We want to remind everyone that judging is handled by the Minnesota Combat Commission.

The process for appealing a decision in Minnesota was explained to Bakhtovar. However, the issue of him losing a point was not clearly communicated by the appropriate parties. According to the commission, Bakhtovar would have won the fight had that point not been deducted. That said, the main point of contention is not the deduction, but rather how many rounds he actually won.

The appeal process has been discussed and initiated. Please understand that we are not the ones responsible for the judging. In fact, we have personally assisted Bakhtovar in starting the appeal process, and we will have to wait and see how it plays out.

MCFC has no involvement in the judging, the commission’s decisions, or the outcome of any appeals.
