Alleged Meth Addict Wrecks Vehicle When Confronted

Info from Licensor: "The man driving the red SUV T-boned my family in our van. My sister and brother in law saw this happen from their vehicle. The SUV driver then fled the scene, however he returned within minutes and was driving recklessly. He was very close to hitting other vehicles and pedestrians. My brother-in-law quickly reacted by jumping in the window and disabling the vehicle. I approached the vehicle to try and turn of the engine because there was a gas leak and the man punched me. This all happened in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The red SUV driver was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, assault, reckless driving and resisting arrest."
