MASS SHOOTING IN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Eight people were shot in an early morning shooting on North Mart Plaza.

According to Capitol Police, the incident occurred shortly after midnight.

Officers responded to the scene and discovered eight individuals, ages 21 to 40, had been shot, including one person who remains in critical condition.

The exact address of the shooting was not provided. North Mart Plaza is located north of Meadowbrook Road.

No arrests have been made in the case, and the investigation into it is ongoing.
