Do we teach that change in sexuality is like a lightswitch . . . using some sort of technique to switch from homosexual to heterosexual instantaneously? That's the accusation against those of us in ex-gay ministry and professional therapy for unwanted same-sex attraction. It's a baseless accusation, as demonstrated in this clip from my larger response to critic Julia Sadusky. We also address how the research (including Jones and Yarhouse's longitudinal study of ex-gay ministries) shows change on a continuum.
