After Macau gambler Shi Yijian (Chow Yun-fat) assists Interpol in busting the money laundering ring DOA, he retires from the underworld. However, DOA's chief accountant Xiao Ma (Nick Cheung) steals $15 billion from DOA online and flees to Thailand with his daughter Chu Yi (Wang Shiling). Jian's senior disciple, Ah Lok (Shawn Yue), joins Interpol and enlists Jian's help in apprehending the true mastermind behind DOA, Ms. Aoi. The two travel to Thailand to find Xiao Ma as a witness for the prosecution. During the investigation, Jian reunites with the love of his life, Mo Chou (Carina Lau)
