Speeding AMC Garbage Truck Kills 51-Year-Old in Ahmedabad, Driver Lacked Licence

Ahmedabad – A speeding Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) garbage truck rammed into multiple vehicles in Jamalpur, killing 51-year-old Yasin Yusuf Barafwala and injuring three others. CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral.

Police said the driver, Rahul Haresh Parmar, was driving without a valid licence and at excessive speed. He has been arrested and booked under multiple BNS sections, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder, rash driving, and provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, following a complaint by the deceased’s son.
