Test of Time (Storms) Lyric Video

This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "Test of Time (Storms)."

Welcome to another rendition of "Test of Time." This version is closest to the original release in 2020 which featured my own voice. I hired a few people through Fiverr to help bring it to life during some rough times in my life. The instrumental portion came out fantastic, but in retrospect, there was a lot to be desired of the entirety of the song itself.

"Test of Time" represents the struggle most relationships come to when people are worn down, and are unsure of which way to go. Life is a long road, and there are always going to be twists and turn that test our limits. That's just life.

I realized long ago that Love is a choice. Every choice matters. Choose to do the things to look after and care for your loved ones, and help them see why that's the only choice that matters. Choose "Love" and remain consistent. 10 years, 30 years, 60 years,100 years if given the option...

Do the right thing for yourself and each other, and do it from the start.

If you're young, choose your partner wisely. Every relationship has two ends, so it's the responsibility of both of you to manage it well. People aren't there for others to use as we see fit, and then throw away.

If you're old, then return to doing the things that made them fall in love with you to begin with. Don't hit each other, and don't hurt each other. Everything we do matters, and every person you hurt and abuse will come back on your own head if you continue down that path.

I know it's not always easy. Life isn't easy, so there's a reason God gives us wisdom, instruction, and counsel through the Scriptures.

Pick up the Bible and learn before anything else.

"Seek YHVH first, and all things will be added unto you."

He will help you withstand the Test of Time.
