This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "Haymaker."

For those of you who really know me, you likely know that I can't stand the way in which the world operates and the qualities that succeed most often, which is narcissism and greed. The world loves its own, though, so it's no wonder I don't fit in. I don't want to fit in.

I'm a sojourner in a world not worthy of those who seek righteousness.

For as much as the world loves darkness, however, people tend to be surprised when reality bites them. The warnings and lessons are all present and available for nearly anyone to hear and learn. Most would rather learn the hard way. In learning things the hard way also comes the harsh consequences, however, for YAH has spelled the Truth out for us...

... but "they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear Me. They would not accept My advice, and they rejected my reproof. So they will eat the fruit of their ways, and they will be filled with the fruit of their schemes."

It doesn't have to be this way. Change can happen for any of us, so long as we are willing to repent from evil, and turn away from wickedness, and begin doing good... so that we might live.
