The all-new 2025 Subaru Forester brings significant updates to this popular compact SUV including redesigned exterior styling, improved interior technology, and for the first time ever, a hybrid powertrain option. This sixth-generation Forester maintains standard all-wheel drive across the lineup while adding modern features like an 11.6-inch touchscreen and enhanced safety systems.

The regular Forester features a reworked 2.5-liter flat-four engine producing 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque with improved low-end responsiveness. The new Forester Hybrid delivers 194 horsepower combined output with impressive 35 MPG fuel economy rating. Both versions come standard with Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system and 8.7 inches of ground clearance for genuine off-road capability.

Interior improvements include excellent visibility thanks to large windows and thin pillars, spacious seating for five passengers, and up to 74.4 cubic feet of cargo space with rear seats folded. Standard equipment varies by trim but includes LED headlights, heated front seats on most models, and comprehensive EyeSight safety technology.

Pricing starts at $31,415 for the base model with the top Touring trim reaching approximately $40,000. The Forester Hybrid is available in Premium and higher trim levels with pricing starting around $36,595.
