Tenant Move-In 🏠 in DAYS… 🚨 But the Landlord is STILL Living Here! 😳

I showed up today to prepare this property for the new tenant’s move-in day — just a few days away… and surprise: the landlord is still living here!
If this isn’t handled quickly, it could be a catastrophic problem:
The tenant shows up on move-in day expecting the home to be ready.
The landlord hasn’t moved out yet.
This can lead to legal disputes, breach of lease terms, and a complete breakdown in trust before the tenant even gets the keys.
As a property manager, it’s my job to:
✅ Make sure possession of the property is delivered on time.
✅ Protect both parties by keeping to the lease agreement.
✅ Prevent conflicts before they start.
Right now, this is a headache — but hopefully, the landlord will be out before the clock runs out.
This is real life in property management: juggling timelines, personalities, and legal obligations… all while keeping things professional and moving forward.
