We were on the way to Northwest Arkansas on US highway 412 when we passed through the small town of Alpena Arkansas. It's a town with an interesting history. I really like the old natural stone buildings on Main Street and thought you may want to see it. I didn't really plan this route; I just started the camera and drove around. The population seems to be growing and I believe it's the highest population in its history; if not its very close. So take a ride with us and let us show you the Ozark mountain town of Alpena.
