Philippians 2:6-8 New King James Version
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it [a]robbery to be equal with God, 7 but [b]made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!
There's something about not just this morning’s scripture, but what Sheridan said today that really got me to thinking about not just the Lord's Supper, Part of what it means to rewrite friendship. I especially thought it was interesting what Sheridan shared about Aristotle Saying how no one could be friends with the God, because it would involve a God coming down to our level, and yet Jesus did that for us! I think that's why I'm so fascinated with this first question from this morning's devotional, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

How else does Jesus rewrite the rules of friendship?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from not just this morning’s scripture, but also from this verse above, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that God will show you just how He redefined, and rewrote friendships, through what He did for us on the cross. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and see just what I mean! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it not only gets you to thinking about What the Lord's supper is truly all about, but how God used it to rewrite friendships, and that it will inspire you to want to do the same.

How can His example help you reach across relational differences today?

I pray that you not only think about this question but ask God to show you how you can reach across relational differences with others not just today but every day. Sheridan was very correct, when he said “That’s one reason communion is so profound. Through Jesus God became friends with humans and enabled friendships between those with political and temperamental differences.” I pray that you will deeply think about that statement, think about the scripture that I've shared with you in this vlog, and that you will act on it. Jesus redefined friendship in more ways than one, and I think we need to start living that out.

UNTIL SUNDAY:

HAVE A VERY SERENE AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
