Continuing his recording from the previous video clip, former US Army officer Stas Krapivnik explains why the Indians after Trump threatened them with tariffs for buying Russian oil dropped their planned participation in the F35 fighter program in favor of the Sukhoi 57 fifth generation multirole jet. India is in fact a participant in the SU57 program with Indian Air Force planes from the Sukhoi plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur completing their final assembly in India. Stas also shares the US failure to develop rare earths metal refining and the leverage that it gives the Chinese in their on again off again trade negotiations with Trump which started during Trump's first term.

Overall Stas says the BRICS are responding to the Trump Administration 2.0's punitive tariff threats with greater solidarity to give each other stronger negotiating positions. Trump's deadlines were quickly running him to diplomatic failure and loss of face, hence Trump's geopolitical shock pivot toward direct face to face talks with Putin in Alaska planned for Friday, August 15.
