This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "Towers and Pyramids."

As I was compiling how I wanted to put "The Uphill" Album together, I was inspired to write this song for multiple reasons.

If anyone has been paying attention to the course of the nation, it's not had to tell its trajectory is not very inspiring for the poor and lowly. I've said for a long time that Wall St. is the most corrupt place on the planet. Even Asia has better rules and regulations on their stock markets than the United States does. If everyone knew just how truly bad it is there, there would already have been a revolution in this country.

You do what you want, but I can't keep up the farce any longer. I won't participate in all the ways we were told we have to live our lives.

They keep us enslaved while decreasing what we have every year. It's a slow squeeze as they drain us blind and mercilessly. It's a slow preparation for an upcoming transition for something very dark...

We're not just watching the fall of an Empire, we're experiencing a changing of hands.

Don't be afraid to resist evil.

It takes the courage of one to inspire many.

Well, here I am. Now, don't be afraid because you're not alone.

Live your lives in fear of God and keep His Commandments for this is the whole obligation of mankind. For the True God will judge every deed, including every hidden deed, whether it is good or evil.
