A whistleblower claims that former U.S. Attorney General William P. “Bill” Barr was involved in prosecuting Jan. 6 defendants, including Alex Jones and others, and attempted to block Donald Trump’s return to office via lawfare.

Speaking to Project Veritas, Patrícia Lélis, a former journalist and associate of political commentator Armstrong Williams, revealed she took detailed notes at several meetings she attended, including a Feb. 27, 2023, meeting where Barr discussed saddling Trump with a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) violation, a notoriously difficult charge to challenge legally, with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

“And I remember the, like the biggest conversation they had at that point, it is like what kind of charts that we can bring against Trump,” Lélis told Veritas. “And they discussed like a few charts on the American law. And that’s when Bill Barr, and I will never forget that, Bill Barr was like, ‘We should bring RICO, because it’s a very difficult type of charge to defend.”

She continued, “Bill Barr was like very focused in bringing the RICO case, because he explained to Fani Willis, the RICO charge is one of the most hard to defend in court, because under the American law, the RICO charge can be anything. Like, it’s not very specific. So people who [are] charged with RICO case, they have a very hard time to defend themselves.”

Another quote written by Lélis revealed Barr was aware of impending FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort.

Lélis went on to discuss a Sept. 13, 2021 meeting where the decision was also made “to go after everyone who works or support Trump.”

“They authorized the committee to investigate the events about January 6th. We started like with some names. They also gave a lot of names here. We have like [Gen.] Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Jeffrey Clark, Oath Keepers, Proud Boy People, Proud Boy Group, [Congressman] Scott Perry (R-Cali.), [Congressman] Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a group called “Stop The Steal,” Brad Raffensberger, Shay Moss, Ruby Freeman, Pat Cipollone, Alex Jones, Nick Fuentes…
