Surah Al-Masad (سورة المسد) is the 111th chapter of the Holy Qur'an. This powerful Surah exposes the arrogance, opposition, and eventual fate of Abu Lahab — one of the fiercest enemies of Islam — and serves as a warning to all who oppose the truth.

Revealed in Makkah, it stands as a timeless reminder of the consequences of disbelief, arrogance, and hostility towards Allah's message. The Surah emphasizes that wealth and power cannot save a person from the punishment of Allah.

📖 “Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! His wealth will not avail him, nor that which he gained. He will be burned in a Fire of blazing flame, and his wife as well — the carrier of firewood, with a rope of palm fiber around her neck.”
