🏡 Home Prep Through a 👶 2-Year-Old’s Eyes — My Little Assistants on the Job

Today’s home preparation had a special twist — we saw it all through the eyes of my 2-year-old.
While I finished up my checklist — testing appliances, checking utilities, making sure every room was move-in ready — he explored alongside his older brother, following me from room to room to “supervise” the work.
From a property management standpoint, this is the final step before a tenant moves in:
✅ Confirm all appliances are operational
✅ Test water, electricity, and heating/cooling systems
✅ Ensure safety features like smoke detectors are working
✅ Lock up and secure the property
From a 2-year-old’s perspective?
The biggest challenge of the day wasn’t the paperwork or inspections… it was mastering the stairs — both up and down!
It’s moments like these that remind me that property management isn’t just about homes — it’s about making memories while getting the job done.
