Two long-range bombers Tupolev Tu-22M3 of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) conducted a planned flight in the airspace over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea.
The escort for the aircraft was provided by crews of Sukhoi Su-30SM and Su-27 fighters of the VKS; the flight duration was over 4 hours.

At some points of the route, the long-range bombers were accompanied by foreign fighters.
