Canada: Firing At Comedian Kapil Sharma's Cafe Again; Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility | N18G

Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada, was attacked for the second time after shots were fired on Thursday, less than a month after the first incident. At least 25 gunshots were heard in a purported video of the attack, with shots fired from inside a moving vehicle. Massive damage was caused to the windows and building, but the staff on the premises were uninjured. In an alleged Facebook post that surfaced on social media, gangster Goldy Dhillon claimed responsibility for the shooting and stated that he is affiliated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. He also issued a warning to Sharma in the post. This second attack came just days after a community lunch was held at Kap’s Cafe for Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke and members of the police service, to spread a message of safety and solidarity. The first attack on the cafe occurred on July 10.
