Installing the 12M Extended Double Zepp (EDZ)

I picked this design because it has a good radiation pattern from 40m to 10m and provides a bit of gain. Each leg is 24'5" long from the center. EDZ's for lower frequencies had muted low angle radiation on 10m. Although the high angle lobes on 10m are the strongest, this length has a reasonable amount of gain near the horizon on 10. On 40m it has no gain, but a good low angle pattern. The 475ft of ladder line hits a 4:1 current balun before converting to coax and entering the shack.

With my 2kw antenna tuner, I can match the transmitter to the feed-line with minimal feed-line losses and use it on multiple bands. The bottom of the antenna sits at about 13ft and the top is just over 60ft up.
