The Uphill Lyric Video

Hey Fam, Friends, and Fans.

This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video for "The Uphill."

This song was actually originally a concept theme song for a game idea I was working on, and during the process became very personal. Along the course of life I have found that life itself is a journey of learning, and we can learn something from everyone along the way. Unfortunately, everything breaks where I discovered that those that hold the highest positions often don't have all the understanding and knowledge they pretend that they do. This leads to folly and error.

This is especially true in Spiritual areas where Elders have given their trust over to Scholars and Seminary Schools. I can't tell you how often I was confused by erroneous teachings as a teenager that didn't make sense no matter how often people tried to explain them to me. Thankfully God's Word is True, and He Himself becomes our teacher where there are no other teachers.

Over more recent years, He Himself has taught me so much through His Word just by revealing things to me as I read that it truly astonishes me just how much the modern day churches have wrong. I put the blame on Seminary Schools and the "teachers" who pass these false teachings on, whether unknowingly or intentionally, all because they didn't stop to let God teach them and trusted in flawed reasoning instead.

We all have much to learn, and if we let the Spirit of YHVH be our guide, then learn we certainly shall!
