Surah Al-Mulk, also known as “The Sovereignty”, warns humanity of the consequences of disbelief and rejection of truth. In verses 8 and 9, the terrifying nature of Hell (Jahannam) is revealed—describing not only its anger but the regret of its inhabitants.

📌 Verse 8:

“It almost bursts with rage…”
This imagery reflects the intensity of Hellfire's fury. It is not a passive place, but one alive with anger against those who rejected Allah.

📌 Every time a group is cast into Hell, its keepers (angels of punishment) will question them:

“Did a warner not come to you?”
The question emphasizes accountability. Everyone was given a chance—a prophet, a message, a reminder.

📌 Verse 9:

“Yes, a warner did come…”
They admit the truth too late. They had been warned, but they mocked the messengers and claimed that Allah had revealed nothing. They were in clear misguidance.

🌍 These verses serve as a reminder to take the message of Islam seriously. We have the Qur’an, the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, and countless signs around us. Let’s not wait until it's too late.
