The Diablo RPG - Coming soon?

Today I crack open the dusty tomes of the late 90s and talk about the Diablo TTRPG from 1999. Yes, it was a real thing. I go over my memories of running it back then, what worked, what didn’t, and how it tried to capture that dark, gothic dungeon crawl feel. With Glass Cannon Unplugged bringing Diablo back to the tabletop, it felt like the perfect time to compare the old game to what is coming next. The Butcher still shows up in my nightmares.
