Then she did polling, if she would run for governor she would win but there would be a battle for the MAGA hat. She felt she put the time in and supported Trump to get the MAGA hat. She thought she had sweat equity. But Trump knows that Burt Jones’ dad wrote checks that would put him over MTG. Recently MTG has been all over the map. She wants George Santos pardon, she has weighed in on Gaza, now she siad that you are the enemy if you are not America First. The other day she dropped this, Not only do we pay 5.2% state income taxes in GA, we also pay high property taxes. GA has got to eliminate state income taxes and property taxes. This should be one of the most important issues in the governors race.
Nick Dyer was MTG Deputy Chief of Staff between Feb 2023 to May 2025. There was a time you would never see MTG without Nick. He has been by her side for her entire tenure in Congress, playing a major role in her messaging strategy. This is part of the puzzle. He left MTG at the end of July, two months ago when MTG started the turn. June was the GOP convention. In June she started talking like a different kind of candidate. He may have gotten out to go a different direction. Something is up.
The RNC summer meeting is at the end of August. Michael Whately the RNC chairman is running for Senate seat in North Carolina. Trump has endorsed Joe Gruters. They want you to lose your energy and drive to give up on corruption. Gabe Sterling the COO the chief operating officer of the Secretary of State is rumored to run for the office. Before the first Blue Ribbon Panel, Victor Anderson was supposed to be the chair of the panel and just 48 hours before the first meeting Jon Burns slid in with Tim Fleming. Now Tim Fleming used to be Brian Kemp’s chief of staff, and wondered what happened there. Now Tim Fleming has a ton of endorsements immediately after announcing. The Blue Ribbon Panel is just a stunt, just to make you think they care. They will write a recommendation for the next voting system in GA.
Kelvin King enters the Secretary of State race with a shot at his likely rival, Gabe Sterling. Not against Tim Fleming. Now his wife is Janelle King who is on the Georgia State Board of Elections who was appointed by Jon Burns. Is this a conflict while Kelvin is running for the seat.
The other day the state board of elections passed this resolution, asking for the DOJ to be brought in to obtain all necessary voting records and documents from Fulton County. The board is calling on the Secretary of State (Brad Raffensperger) to assist it as fully as possible… these are grey words… and the Attorney General (Chris Carr) to seek the assistance of appropriate local authorities or federal authorities. This is not the State board of elections calling Pam Bondi to come in.. resolutions are not binding, this is no more than a suggestion to the SOS and AG that have had years to resolve. Everything they are recommending to the SOS and the AG, they have had the power to do this the whole time and the board is powerless in instructing them to do it.
Julie Adams' term is complete; she is still on the board because they have not replaced her yet. They have not re-appointed her. Jason Fraizer is a disrupter. Fulton County board of elections and the commission do not want Jason Fraizer to the board. The republican party nominated Julie Adams and Jason Fraizer to be on the board as their nominees. The commissioners said no. The judge ruled that the Fulton commissioners had to accept the republican nominees. It is the order of the court that Fulton county has to accept these two nominees. It will go all the way to the GA Supreme Court because the commissioners are saying they don’t have to accept these two.
