The history of the Indus Valley Civilization is a veritable minefield of clichés and half-truths -- often described as a peaceful, egalitarian society that vanished under mysterious circumstances.

But are these narratives actually true?

In this video, we’ll dig into the long-standing narratives that have shaped our understanding of the Indus Valley Civilization, and we'll explore how their society might have really been constructed.

Together with our time-traveling companion, RA-jeeves, we’ll piece together the archaeological evidence and develop a fresh perspective on a civilization far more complex, nuanced, and “human” than previously thought.
