GOP Faces Midterm Losses, Redistricting Challenges Amid Scandals and Census Controversies

The 2026 midterm elections pose significant challenges for Republicans, who currently hold a slim 219-212 House majority, with nine GOP seats won by margins under 1% in 2024, making them vulnerable without Trump on the ballot. Historically, the president’s party loses an average of 20 House seats in second-term midterms, and Democrats are banking on a repeat of their 2018 gains to flip the House. If Democrats succeed, Senate Majority Leader John Thune would face a Democratic House, potentially complicating GOP legislative goals, though Republicans are likely to retain Senate control. The Supreme Court’s 2019 ruling blocking a citizenship question on the 2020 census, reaffirmed as politically motivated, raises concerns for 2030, with figures like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene pushing for a citizen-only count to prevent non-citizens from inflating congressional seat allocations. Critics warn that unchecked immigration could shift representation, particularly in states like Texas, where Republicans aim to add five seats through a controversial mid-decade redistricting push, prompting Texas Democrats to flee the state to block a quorum. This has sparked a national redistricting battle, with blue states like California and New York considering retaliatory gerrymandering, potentially orchestrated by Eric Holder’s National Democratic Redistricting Committee targeting 2030. Meanwhile, Rep. Cory Mills faces allegations of sextortion and accepting illicit funds, though he denies wrongdoing, adding to GOP vulnerabilities. Internationally, Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff’s Moscow talks with Putin signal efforts to normalize U.S.-Russia relations, despite looming August 8, 2025, sanctions on Russia and tariffs on India, which India dismisses. Past U.S. support for Ukraine was tied to NATO aspirations and fears of Russian expansion into Poland, now led by conservative President Karol Nawrocki. Finally, the ongoing $140 million First Liberty Building and Loan Ponzi scheme investigation involving Katie Frost and her family, with ties to Georgia GOP figures, raises questions about integrity as Katie Frost appears on Newsmax.

In the midterms the party in power generally loses a lot of seats. We currently have 9 seats that are just over 1% where the republican won with Trump on the ballot. We have talked about the 9 districts that are going to be a challenge in the midterms. The democrats are hoping that the 2018 replay of the seats lost in Donald Trump’s first term. Republicans should control the Senate once again but the question is the House. If the House is controlled by the democrats how will the senate react, John Thune, in working with the Democrat house. Here is the truth in what is happening as we move forward. If the democrats continue doing in the direction they are going they are about to put the republicans in check mate.
The Supreme Court blocked the Trump administration's attempt to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census. The court ruled that the administration's stated reason for adding the question to better enforce the Voting Rights Act was contrived and a pretext for a politically motivated decision. This ruling prevents the citizenship question from appearing on the census forms.
MTG says we need to recount the country with citizens only, but what happens in 2030 when a citizen's question isn’t on the census. We weren’t 30 million in the hole in 2020. The illegals will determine who is in the state once the count is complete and how many congressional seats will be added?
Congressman Cory Mills is in a little trouble. Miss US accuses Mills of sextortion accepting money bags.
We have the Aug 8 deadline. Witkoff is in Moscow meeting Putin. Remember under the Biden administration that we paid all the bills for Ukraine, but what did we hear? What was the reasoning for the full support of Ukraine, because they wanted Ukraine to be a part of NATO. And if we allowed Ukraine to be wiped out by Russia, Russia would move to Poland. Poland has a new president, conservative Karol Nawrocki. The US has teams that have met with Russian diplomats all over the world, all the talks are in place, to normalize relations with Russia. But in two days we have enormous sanctions on Russia and enormous tariffs on India, they don’t care. India is not worried about their exports to America.
Can someone tell Newsmax that Katie Frost and her entire family is being investigated for the $140M ponzi scheme?
