US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has arrived in Moscow for talks with Russian leaders.

Witkoff's visit comes days after President Donald Trump warned President Vladimir Putin the US would impose tougher sanctions on Russia if there is no progress toward peace in Ukraine by Friday.
