Tried Spending Bitcoin at Steak ‘n Shake… and It Didn’t Go as Planned

Today was supposed to be my first time buying Steak ‘n Shake with Bitcoin. I had the perfect plan — Old Coaly was going to buy lunch, we’d pay in sats, and it would be another win for everyday #Bitcoin spending.

But… the Wi-Fi was down.
No Wi-Fi = no Lightning Network payment.

This wasn’t a Bitcoin problem — it was a real world payment obstacle that can happen to anyone. And in true Bitcoin fashion, I had to pivot.
