War of the Worlds is Intentionally a TERRIBLE Movie to Market Amazon

Amazon’s reimagining of War of the Worlds starring Ice Cude is going viral for being so bad, but some suspect it’s bad intentionally.

War of the Worlds from Prime Video is one of those movies where critics and audiences universally agree that it’s terrible, yet the movie is wildly popular and currently the number 1 streamed movie on Amazon. Given that the budget is low, and Amazon shoe-horned in a bunch of product placement, it’s theorized the company deliberately made this low budget movie to be bad because they gambled that would make it go viral. However, Amazon has also produced things that are just bad in the past, so maybe they’re just getting lucky.
