Marvel Uses Spider-Man to Distract from Fantastic Four’s Box Office Fall

New set photos and behind the scenes footage has been revealed for Sony and Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

It’s strange how this is being released so soon after the release of Marvel’s Fantastic Four, but it would appear the studio is trying to immediately to pivot towards something they expect to get the excitement Fantastic Four didn’t. This is similar to how Marvel released Iron Heart right before Superman came out in theaters. Disney is also having their investor earnings call and likely don’t want people thinking about Fantastic Four while the Spider-Man movies have been their most popular thing post Endgame.
