This is Lloyd Bickford, aka Proverb Lexis. Welcome to the lyric video "Wrong Advice."

In a world that tends to lean towards selfish and covetous tendencies, it can be easy to be misled down the wrong path by any given person. Sometimes we can build up bad habits before we realize they are truly bad for us.

This song was written as a conversation between myself and my inner demons... perhaps even a response from me to the entire world.

At some point I finally grew tired of falling to sin, and I even grew tired of desiring all the things the world was telling me to desire. Life is a long road, and ultimately the end goal is reaching God Himself. Along the way, we inevitably discover the things He desires of us only to discover that much of the advice we received along the way has often lead us away from God rather than closer to Him.

Personally, I don't like being told the same thing twice...
So I won't be breathing in your wrong advice...
