WASHINGTON, D.C., August 5, 2025 — The House Oversight Committee’s sweeping Jeffrey Epstein investigation is now calling in some of the most powerful political figures of recent decades for depositions, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Merrick Garland, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, former Attorney General Eric Holder, and former FBI Director James Comey.

Chairman James Comer has also subpoenaed the Department of Justice for the complete Epstein list, giving the agency two weeks to hand over the documents. The DOJ is reportedly considering releasing a full two-hour interview it recently conducted with Ghislaine Maxwell in Florida.

Jesse Watters reported that Comey appeared rattled by the subpoena, posting what Watters described as a “hostage video” to his Substack. Meanwhile, new details continue to emerge from Epstein’s infamous seven-story Manhattan townhouse, which the New York Times described as containing disturbing décor — including a sculpture of a bride hanging from a rope and dozens of framed prosthetic eyeballs lining the entryway. Investigators also documented multiple surveillance cameras, one mounted over Epstein’s bed and another in an adjacent room.

Several Epstein victims have claimed the residence contained a hidden camera network, suggesting the existence of potentially explosive tapes. Comer says obtaining those materials is essential to delivering “the full truth” to the American people.
