Martin: “And we’re going to respond in kind.”

[Clip ends]

Smith: “All right, let’s bring in Texas Republican Congressman Pat Fallon to respond to that. Republicans are lying, cheating and stealing their way to victory. Your response?”

FALLON: “Well, the Democrats are — they have PhDs in rhetoric and hyperbolic statements, and that’s one of them right there. The data doesn’t favor their argument. So, allow me to explain. The top five blue states in the country, which are California, Washington, Illinois, New York and New Jersey, there are 117 congressional seats in those five states. The Democrats control 93 of them, for 79 percent. In the red top five red states, Texas, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Republicans — there’s 104 seats, Republicans only control 72 of those, which is 69 percent. So, the Democrats were very effective at gerrymandering in the 2020 cycle because we — the Republican candidates for Congress in 2024 got 5 million more votes than Democratic candidates. So, we should statistically have somewhere between 230 to 233 seats in the House. We have 220. We almost lost control. So, when they talk about gerrymandering, they better find a mirror.”

Smith: “Well, on gerrymandering, President Trump said this in an interview earlier today. Listen.”
