📝Cleaning the northern part of Volchansk and the foothold on Volchya - the breakdown of Rybar📝

At the conclusion of July, military units of the Russian Federation (RF) in the Slobozhansky direction initiated an offensive in the Volchansk area.

By August 5, they had successfully secured control of the ruins in the northern part of the city and established a presence in the Tatarsky forest.

🔻What is the current status of the second attack on the city?

By August 1, the Russian military had successfully advanced the enemy from positions near the Volchya River to the northwest of the city, securing a position in the Tatarsky forest.

Simultaneously, the RF Armed Forces successfully neutralized the insurgent presence in the northern sector of Volchansk, thereby consolidating their authority over the Aggregate Plant site. This strategic advance marks the culmination of over a year of persistent military operations aimed at restoring order to the region.

At present, artillery from the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is targeting the southern and western regions of Volchansk. The ongoing offensive in the city has seen a gradual advance by the "Northern" forces towards the southern regions.

📌In contrast to the previous assault in 2024, units of the 68th and 69th motorized rifle divisions are employing a flanking maneuver. This tactic is designed to force the enemy to disperse its reserves, thereby hindering the enemy's ability to concentrate forces for a counterattack.

At present, the assault groups of the RF Armed Forces are approaching Synelnykove. The liberation of this town will create a situation in which enemy forces in Volchansk will be cut off from ground supply from the west.
