Jeff Rath is an Alberta lawyer specializing in Aboriginal treaty rights and environmental law, and has successfully represented indigenous groups as Lead Counsel at the level of the Supreme Court of Canada. He is Lead Counsel of the Alberta Prosperity Project and a staunch advocate of Alberta independence.

In this long-form interview with Jeff, we had the pleasure of discussing a broad range of important issues surrounding his push for Alberta independence working with The Alberta Prosperity Project. From the clear economic benefits to the challenges of properly navigating Indigenous treaty and governance rights, Jeff lays out a compelling case for why Alberta not only should, but actually must seize this opportunity to regain our freedom from a bloated, abusive, overreaching federal government and failing Canadian project.
