Playing PolyZ for the First Time - How Will It Compare to Deadpoly?

I enjoy low-poly zombie survival games like Deadpoly. And, courtesy of Keymailer and the developer, SSG, I'm taking a look at the game PolyZ. This low-poly, zombie survival game can be played both solo and online co-op or pvp and features a persistent world with a unique live map.

However, PolyZ currently also features mixed reviews on Steam. So let's dive in and see - does this game have potential or is this zombie infestation too wide spread to contain?
