Kiteboarding Crash in Cabarete with Shark

Info from Licensor: "On December 20th, I was training as usual on kite beach. After a 20-minute training session, I was gaining speed riding downwind when I suddenly spotted the shark, thanks to the crystal clear water, but with the speed I was going, about 55 km/h, it was too late to avoid him. I hit him with the mastil of my foil board causing a hard crash. The shark just disappeared and I quickly recovered my board and went back to the shore. My board was beat up, but I was ok."
