Proverbs 7 – The Path to Death
This chapter is a warning told as a story. A young man, unaware and unguarded, walks into a trap—not because he was forced, but because he wasn’t watching. Wisdom had warned him, but he didn’t bind it to his heart.

What begins with flattery ends in ruin. The seductress paints her words with comfort and urgency, but her house is not what it seems. Behind the perfume and linen lies a staircase to death.

Proverbs 7 calls us to vigilance—not just over our actions, but our desires, our attention, and our wandering hearts. The way of wisdom protects. The way of temptation deceives. The choice, as always, lies in which path we take.
