Jesus’ Surprising Advice on Unrighteous Wealth

Jesus advises using unjustly obtained wealth for good, even if the motive is selfish, as a step towards spiritual growth. This initial selfishness can be a starting point for conversion, eventually leading to a selfless love for God and others, as exemplified by the saints. Ultimately, the goal is to act as children of God, driven by charity rather than self-interest.

The wisdom of God is selflessness or charity, which we strive for despite our sinful, selfish nature. Through love and humility, we develop confidence in God, removing fear and embracing true freedom as children of God. This freedom comes from living in accordance with God’s will, not from worldly desires or selfishness.
