Funnel cloud spotted in Edmonton as severe storms moved across Alberta

Rain, storms and lightning were experienced across most of Alberta on Sunday, bringing funnel clouds and landspout tornadoes with them.

Sunday was marked by heavy rainfall of up to 100mm, dreary weather and a series of storms, including one apartment building that was struck by lightning triggered by the slow-moving, low-pressure storm system.
