📖 Reading the Book of Mark Together – Episode 21

In today’s reading, Mark 6:7–13, Jesus sends out the Twelve disciples — not with money, or food, or backup — but with authority, purpose, and the instruction to take nothing except a walking stick.

No tunic. No silver. Not even a snack.

It’s their first mission — preaching repentance, casting out demons, and healing the sick — and it all starts with obedience and empty hands.

In this episode, I explore:

Why Jesus sends them.

The spiritual power of faithfulness and the Holy Spirit.

What it really means to shake the dust off your feet

And how this early mission still speaks to our lives today

✨ Key Verse:
“So they went out and preached that people should repent.” (Mark 6:12)

🎉 We’re officially one-third of the way through Mark’s Gospel — thank you for walking through it with me, day by day.
