Important points:
- In examples of best/worst countries for relationships, I chose Finland and Slovenia due to them both being western countries with the same laws (within EU) and sharing a similar culture. Comparing for example Thailand and Poland would be much more complicated due to an insane number of cultural differences.
- Some nuances to the given points were not explored, but I am aware of them, I may explore them in another video, but I felt I wanted to get the main point across, it's only my first video. The future videos will build upon this research.
-There are very few sources with a possible conflict of interest in this video. For example the graphs about effects of sexual partners on women are made by the Heritage Foundation, which has a right wing bias. However, they merely summarized government data and it was double checked to be correct. They simply converted the difficult to navigate data into nice charts. If there is a possibly biased source, I made sure to double check the information.
- Some data is given by chatGPT. That information came from ALWAYS asking it a neutral question like "are men overwhelmingly doing physical jobs or are women? Can you give the gender percentage split for most common physical labor jobs" and I always asked it to provide sources, then double checked those sources to make sure I can include the screenshot. I did not just trust AI's word.
- if you go through the sources in this video, you may notice that in some cases, some relevant factors were omitted. This is a prevention of unnecessary tangents, arguments that did not turn out to be true or factors that aren't that relevant or can be explained with other information in the video. However, if questions persist, I can make another video addressing that topic.
- In the case of housewives, there is some conflicting evidence, however it is self-reported and I wanted to focus on measurable metrics as much as possible. For example, Finnish women self-report as being very happy in their gender progressive society, but since, Finland has been proudly feminist for many generations, this is the effect of cultural beliefs and expectations, as when you measure any real markers of happiness such as divorces, cheating, s**cides, depression etc., finnish women consistently score among the lowest. Compared to societies where women's motherhood is still celebrated, same statistics are not observed in working women. For reasons like this, self-reported conflicting evidence was completely omitted, but acknowledged to exist.
- My vote in the poll at 9:45 is arbitrary to see the results, I support the 2nd answer, as also concluded at the end of the video.
