Psalm 11 – Trusting God When the World Feels Like It’s Falling Apart

Psalms Chapter 11 is a quiet refusal to give in to fear.
David is told to flee — to run like a bird to the mountains — but he doesn’t. Instead, he anchors his heart in one unshakable truth:
“The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven.”

Though the wicked hide in secret, and the foundations of justice seem to crumble, Psalm 11 reminds us that God sees, God tests, and God reigns in righteousness.
He loves what is upright. He watches over the faithful. And even in a broken world, His justice remains steady.

This psalm is for anyone who feels surrounded, misunderstood, or tempted to run — for those who refuse to let fear be their guide.
It’s for the person choosing trust over panic, stillness over escape, and faith over reaction.

God is still on the throne. And His face shines on the upright.
